“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

Exams can make you feel as though your head is spinning and one mistake could cost you your grade. God wants you to know that He will fight for you in any situation. If it’s God’s will for you to be a doctor, He will help you pass your medical exams. If He wants you to be a lawyer, He will carry you through your bar exam. If you believe that God has great career plans for you and you’ve prayed over your future, He will make sure it comes to pass! Just be still.

Submit your prayer to Churches, prayer groups and shrines all around the world with a prayer request.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” — Psalms 56:3

Tests are scary: Everyone from elementary age to college students know that. You may have a less-than-forgiving teacher/professor and people’s words may have frightened you in regards to the exam. Don’t be afraid! Fear is a liar and will do nothing to help your grade. However, God is truth, and He will give you peace over your situation. His presence will calm you so you can focus on studying. Remember that the hand of God is always guiding you in the right direction, so there is no reason to be consumed with fear. Jesus died so we could have eternal life. Therefore, we should never fear anything in this worldly life.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” — Hebrews 11:1

Faith is all we need to walk in confidence. It can be hard to have faith and God knows this. Pray for faith and confidence that you will pass this exam with flying colors. Have the hope and assurance that God is working. Sometimes we can’t see God working and sometimes don’t feel Him, but that doesn’t mean He’s not there for you. When your hopes come to pass, the work of God will be more visible than ever. Faith always, always pays off. If faith can save our souls, imagine what faith can do for us in this life.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…” — Colossians 3:23

Study with all your heart; take the exam with all your heart. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart! God may be fighting for us, but He also fights through our own will to succeed. We all have our low points, but God will hold our heads up so we can use our energy when we need it. If we do everything as though we’re working for the Lord, we are successful in every way already. Study as though Jesus is the one testing your knowledge. Work as though Jesus is your instructor. If you don’t take that exam for anyone else, do it for the Lord and He will surely reward you for it.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

God is our main source of strength in any situation. Pray for strength and God’s strength will fill you. That means that even if you fail, you have the willpower to move forward and try again if you are able. Life has plenty of ups and downs. Think about the last time you prayed for God to give you the strength to get through hardship. You are still here today, so that means God will arm you with every bit of strength you need.

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26

Jesus’ disciples were in the habit of asking a lot of questions of doubt. We love to read the Word and think “How could they not understand the power of God?”. Frankly, we can be just like them more often than we think! It’s very easy to doubt God if this exam looks especially impossible. Perhaps plenty people have failed in the past. Maybe you’ve even failed it before. Nothing is impossible with God, and we should believe that in the most literal way possible. When God wants something to happen, it will happen. Therefore, have faith!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

God has plans for you. This is true in any situation and no matter what the outcome is. God’s plan for your life is pre-written and running smoothly, so you can rest knowing this. You can overcome an exam, but no exam can overcome you. You are a child of God, and He is for you!
